Discovered during peat cutting in the 1940s Beaghmore is a complex of early Bronze Age megalithic features, stone circles and cairns.   This tranquil and atmospheric site outside Cookstown near Davagh Forest is the centrepiece of the first International Dark Sky Place accredited in Northern Ireland.
