Saul Church

Also known as St Patrick’s Memorial Church, it was built in 1932 to commemorate the coming of St Patrick 1500 years earlier. Constructed to replicate an earlier church with a round tower, it is the location of Patrick’s first sermon and church which was a timber barn. It is considered to be the cradle of Christianity in Ireland.
